GRACE WILMSHURST

Grace Wilmshurst is an oil painter living and working in Brighton, UK.

Her canvases are atmospheric snapshots, depicting a fascinating, almost sinister beauty of the countryside.

Grace's oil paintings draw influence from her rural childhood memories.

'Overground', 'Minor Trouble' and 'Rescue Dog' are part of her current body of work which explores the darker undertones between agriculture, nature and man.

Her work has been exhibited in London, Brighton and Cornwall. Grace recently exhibited two canvases at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. In 1998 Grace graduated from De Montfort University with a BA (Hons) in 3-dimensional design.
